If you love your wine as much as Cersei Lannister, you’ll want to get yourself down to the Game of Rhones this Sunday.
Described as a wine lover’s version of Comic Con, Game of Rhones is high quality wine tasting with an pop culture twist.
The event is a celebration of the classic grape varieties of the Rhone Valley in France, which produces Shiraz, Grenache, Mourvedre, Carignan, Cinsault, Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne to name a few.
With over 40 producers and 100 wines on tasting, the range of styles, characters and diversity will be an all out assault on the senses.
Including brilliant producers from all corners of Australia, New Zealand as well as wines from ‘Beyond the Wall’ the Rhone Bar.
There is sure to be something to suit everyone’s unique pallet but of course there will be a food on offer to fill you up.
This interactive showcase encourages guests to taste and choose their favourite variety, style and region on the day by casting their votes for the Peoples Choice award for a chance to win some epic prizes.
There will also be the blindfolded tasting ‘torture chamber’.
