The next round of tickets for the immensely popular Story Bridge 75 event will be released on 1 June.
Brisbane’s heritage-listed Story Bridge will turn 75 in July this year.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, Brisbane City Council has announced the Story Bridge will close to vehicle traffic from 7am-7pm on Sunday 5 July. The bridge will open to Brisbane residents and visitors for Story Bridge 75 – an event from 11am-4pm to celebrate this much-loved and recognised Brisbane icon and its history. Eat Street Markets will relocate to the bridge for the celebration with 80 food vendors and 20 food trucks. Four band stages will host performers to delight crowds during the afternoon.
The event is free, but you do need to register to attend. The 25,000 Early Bird tickets were quickly snapped up after a surge of interest you’d usually only see for State of Origin tickets. 20,000 more tickets will be made available when the next round opens on 1 June.
To make sure you don’t miss out on the next allocation of tickets, bookmark the Eventbrite page and check back on Monday 1 June.
