Twice as big as its last instalment, the City of Logan’s Eats & Beats Urban Pop-Up Series is back this Friday 24 April with something for everyone to enjoy.
With double the number of food trucks this month and a new, larger location, Eats & Beats is back in a big way.
The event is a perfect opportunity to sample some new and exciting taste sensations or take a moment with some old favourites if that’s more your speed.
Whatever you’re craving, there is sure to be something for your appetite that’ll hit the spot.
Among some familiar options will be some new additions to hit the Queensland food truck scene like The Doughnut Bar, who will be serving Chocolate Komberry Co’s famous version the ‘Cronut’, a hybrid pastry combing a croissant and doughnut.
King of Wings and a number of other trucks are set to return and Legacy will attend to raise funds ahead of ANZAC Day commemorations on Saturday.
Governance, Finance and Economic Development Committee Chair, Councillor Luke Smith, said the first Eats & Beats event had exceeded all expectations and they have taken public suggestions on-board for this next event.
“The people of Logan have fully embraced this event and our next Eats & Beats will feature more than 30 food outlets at a much larger site,” he said.
“This new location is almost triple the size and as a pop-up series, it is great to be able to move the event around and showcase all of the great areas in our city.
“We hope everyone will continue to show their support for the concept and will come along to enjoy the fantastic atmosphere at this family-friendly event.”
The event will be held at the Hyperdome Outdoor Event Area (on the corner of Leda Drive and Mandew Street in Shailer Park). For more information about Eats & Beats check out our Event Guide listing.
