Food trucks are currently all the rage, with Brisbane being home to a growing number of these mobile meal-makers. Logan is in store for a good feed as all the most popular trucks roll in this March for the launch of Eats and Beats!

Set to kick off in Logan on the 27th of March, Eats and Beats is set to be the largest food truck event in Queensland, combining delicious food and epic live music to create a unique night market atmosphere for all ages and walks of life to enjoy.

Held in the ideal location of the Ikea forecourt, the event can be easily accessed by people from all over Brisbane and South-East Queensland.

Logan City Mayor Pam Parker believes the event will make for the perfect night out for everyone to enjoy with exciting and unique food options as well as plentiful free entertainment.

“Eats and Beats will satisfy the taste buds of even the biggest foodies and will also provide a platform for artists from our region to perform,” she said. There will be appearances by Dave Powers and other well-known Brisbane acts Neighbour, Inigo and Pocket Love.

“There will be plenty of variety and we are excited to be hosting an event that will attract new visitors to our city and give local residents an enjoyable night out”, says Parker.

As the first of its kind, Councillor Luke Smith acknowledges the opportunity to showcase Logan City. “Many of these food trucks have large social media followings and very loyal customers and the event will encourage our neighbours in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and surrounds to come and experience the exciting things happening in Logan,” he said.
