Relive all the highs and lows from the celebrated cricket season at this special lunch.

It is forever remembered as one of the most celebrated moments in the history of Queensland sport.

After 68 years of heartbreak and agony, the Queensland Bulls finally broke through for a maiden Sheffield Shield title in the season of 1994-95, with captain Stuart Law lifting the famous shield in front of an adoring Gabba crowd.

Since their breakthrough win, Queensland has enjoyed a golden era winning the competition a further six times (including three consecutive seasons from 1999/2000 to 2001/02) and also finishing as runners-up six times. Their most recent title was a victory over the Tasmanian Tigers in 2011/2012.

20 years on and with the memories of the glorious season still fresh in the memory, it’s time to celebrate the achievements of one of the finest cricketing teams our state has produced with our 20 Year Sheffield Shield Anniversary Long Lunch.

The Long Lunch will be held on Thursday March 12 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. Hosted by Channel Nine Sports Reporter and former Wallabies Captain Andrew Slack, the Long Lunch will re-live all the highs and lows from the celebrated season, including insights from players on the famous final victory.

All of the Queensland players involved in our first ever Sheffield Shield victory will also be in attendance.

The event includes a three course lunch and a beverage package.
