Come and combine sweet treats and raising money for a worthwhile cause at The Pink High Tea on Saturday October 11.
Locals and members of the business community will come together to share buns and help raise funds for Breast Cancer Research.
Taking place at North East Baptist Church, Nundah, the organisers are expecting over one hundred women to attend. To keep everyone entertained in between the main event (the delicious baked goods), there will be a fashion parade hosted by local fashion houses Blue Bungalow and Sassi Coco. There will also be a silent auction of items donated by local business owners.
Breast cancer can be a devastating diagnosis but local Nundah resident Cathy Baker will share her story of having survived breast cancer to raise hope for other sufferers.
Tracey Cosgrove, chair of the organising committee, commented: “The event is a great opportunity for local women to come together and share a cup of tea and a chat. I am really looking forward to seeing all the fabulous clothes paraded as well as hearing the testimonials from the speakers. Tickets are selling fast and so people need to get in quick.”
All money raised will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. To purchase a ticket phone Anne at North East Baptist Church on 3266 5266 and for all other information, head to our event guide listing.
