The Morrison Hotel has announced its first ever car park festival to celebrate the finer things in life.
The Morrison Hotel is typically associated with top quality steaks. Branching out into entertainment, the venue is putting on Crafts on the Commons, a car park festival.
Sip on loads of varieties of craft beer, boutique wine and whisky whilst listening to some fantastic live music and checking out sweet rides. Confirmed acts for the day on the Carpark Stage include local band The Good Ol’ Boys to start things off for the day. Then The Sugarshakers will move it up a gear with their unique blend of rockabilly, swing and rock’n’roll, before 11-piece swing jump jive band The WellSwung Daddies close out the night.
On the Naked Whisky Bar stage, the weekly Morrison Blues Jam featuring Mark D’s Big Three will keep you entertained.
There’ll also be a barber stall, a cigar retailer and plenty of gorgeous classic bikes and café racers to check out.
Don’t just go for a good time, as Craft on the Common is being hosted in conjunction with the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, which does its part to raise both awareness and funds for men’s health and prostate cancer.
Did we mention that it’s free?
Crafts on the Common is on Sunday September 28 from 10am til late at The Morrison Hotel, 640 Stanley Street Woolloongabba. For more info, check out our event guide listing.
