Why food trucks?
We wanted to provide an alternative to being tied down to leases. It gives people an opportunity to experience something that is not readily available in their market place.
What were you doing before you got your food truck? What’s your background in food?
Previous ownership of a Pizza Restaurant in New Zealand, combined with a sales and marketing background.
What’s the most popular item on your menu?
Ultimate Meat Pizza for the blokes and Hawaiian for the ladies.
What’s your favourite item on the menu?
Cheesymite…. Can’t go past vegemite and cheese, being Australians!
Which suburbs do you usually operate in?
Everywhere from Brisbane out to Ipswich and down to the Gold Coast.
How do most people find out about your truck?
Why do you think food trucks have become so popular?
The majority provide quality food, and the convenience of being in different locations.
Favourite music to listen to in the truck?
Got to have the ’70s / ’80s rock! We will rock you!
Do you harbour any dreams of opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant?
We’ve just done it! It opened 10 weeks ago in Redland Bay and is going very well, thanks to all our clients and followers.
