Meat At Billy’s – Ashgrove. He will make you look like a Rockstar at a BBQ as my friend says! Excellent sausages and the window is always changing, quality always good. My husband would accuse me of cheating on Billy if I went elsewhere!
I have been buying meat from Brad at Rode Meats for nearly 25 years and his meat is excellent, the prices are good and the customer service is brilliant. I have tried other butchers, but always came back to Rode.

Brian Adams’ Banyo Meats in the heart of Banyo would be hard to beat. He opens seven days and now makes his own meat pies and ready cooked dishes as well as a large range of fresh cuts. He even sells fesh prawns!
It seems Gloria was thinking along the same lines. While these Northside butchers my have great products, why didn’t the correspondent venture to other parts of Brisbane as well and give more rounded reporting. Even looking at which businesses had won EKKA prizes could have supplied information without travelling distances.

I live at northside. I wanted to buy grass fed animal’s bones (lamb possibly) to make bone broath. Could you guys please suggest me good butcher in this area?
I would recommend Carina North Quality Meats – they have a lot of tasty grass fed meats. For those who don’t live too near, you can also order their meat online.
