MasterChef Australia’s Matt Preston has gotten behind Brisbane’s most delicious food celebration, which attracted more than 70,000 people to the South Bank Parklands last year.

Matt Preston will take centre stage at the sixth annual Regional Flavours in South Bank Parklands on Saturday 19 July. The celebrity chef will dazzle audiences at the free food and wine festival when he performs live at the EAT-SHOW-TELL main stage program.

Preston will join Miguel Maestro in the program, which will see two days of free in-depth cooking demonstrations, as well as industry experts from The LifeStyle Channels, River Cottage Australia, The Free Range Cook and V-ZUG’s Executive Chef, Felix Halter.

Locals looking for some culinary appreciation will appreciate Preston’s personal cooking philosophy, which is focussed on fast, fresh, simple dishes and tasty shortcuts to create meals.

Preston’s fans can also head along to a book signing for his latest publications – Fast, Fresh & Unbelievably Delicious and Matt Preston’s 100 Best Recipes.

Regional Flavours will feature a food trail of market stalls with free samples from local food producers along Little Stanley Street, an assortment of pop-up menus from the Eat Fleet Food Trucks, live music at River Quay, craft beer tastings and slow barbeque beef demonstrations at The Hunting Club.

The full Regional Flavours program will be revealed within the next few weeks.
