Your favourite bar just got bigger (and better) with the addition of a new micro bar and bottle shop.

Lefty’s Old Time Music Hall is hard to ignore, with its new bar and bottle shop sporting saloon doors and giant bay windows — its Western presence is unmissable from the streets.

The new street front saloon is known as the Liquor Store & Prairie Supplies and will be open until 10pm from Wednesdays through to Sundays.

The signature Western style has followed through to the additional bar and shop with taxidermy, cowboy hats and wooden barrels lining the walls.

Keeping with the traditions of its original signature drink, the extensive range of rum and whisky is of course available.

The expansion is the brainchild of Jason Scott and Jamie Webb, who pride themselves on their hidden-bar-within-a-bar, the Mermaid Lounge.

Merchandise is for sale in the Liquor Store & Prairie Supplies with cowboy hats, gentlemen’s grooming supplies and shirts from Western Wac — all available for purchase in the bar.

Soon to be legal for footpath dining, the bar will be accessible to the kitchen with patrons soon able to have a beer with a hardy meal.

Lefty’s is soon to have a sibling with plans for a new bar and live-music venue in Brisbane. Scott and Webb are definitely a team to look out for.
