You know you’ve stumbled upon an exclusive bar when you struggle to find the entrance – but you’ll be pleasantly surprised at what’s on offer at The Laneway.

The Laneway bar is Urbane Restaurant and The Euro’s hidden gem, secluded in an elevated space off Spencer Lane.

As you ascend up The Euro’s stairs to The Laneway, the bar immediately oozes a cosmopolitan atmosphere, serving creative cocktails and boutique beers to the smooth sounds of a house DJ.

To accompany the drinks list, The Laneway serves gourmet burgers and canapes by Urbane’s critically acclaimed chef Alejandro Cancino – the Wagyu beef and chicken schnitzel burgers are a must-try.

Winner of Young Chef of the Year in the U.K. in 2008 and Australian Gourmet Traveller’s Best New Talent in 2013, Cancino is an absolute asset to The Urbane Group and its expansion.

The Laneway is shrouded by a themed feature wall (pictured) and large theatre screen that projects film onto the adjacent walls outside, creating an intimate ambience for guests.

It’s the perfect secluded spot for a corporate soiree, hen or bux celebration or for washing down the woes of the working week.
