Pop-up Beerkary Bakery matches custom-made craft beers with freshly baked goods at Brisbane’s tastiest events.

After debuting at Scratch Bar, pop-up business Beerkary Bakery are returning on Sunday 29 June with a Winter Dinner at West End’s Wandering Cooks.

Beerkary was formed from growing local demand to match two gastronomy favourites – craft beers and baked goods.

The bakery fuses brewing and baking as a similar craft, as well as some of the base ingredients for their creations.

The brains behind Beerkary are Ben Devlin and Yen Trinh. Local chef Ben has worked across the globe but now resides as Chef de Cuisine at Brisbane’s award-winning restaurant Esquire. Devlin combines his talents with Trinh, an urban designer who has predominately worked with community spaces and collaborative design.

The two have found great success with Beerkary, particularly with their Beercarons at Brewsvegas. The gourmet macarons are each infused with a different beer and flavour such as orange cream, coffee and lychee jelly.

Beerkary will continue to feature at Milton’s Scratch Bar throughout the year. For more information on the Winter Dinner or Scratch Bar events, visit the Facebook page.
