The folks behind Tippler’s Tap and Tomahawk Bar have the perfect event for beer lovers and brewers alike this weekend.

The first Brewer’s Table will take place this Sunday 1 June at Tippler’s Tap, in what will be a monthly congregation of craft beer enthusiasts.

Each month a different brewery will be featured, with a selection of craft beers served on sample paddles and a breakfast menu to match.

Guests will be able to engage in an informative Q&A with a professional brewer. This month Ian Watson, the beer genius behind Fortitude Brewing Co and Noisy Minor Brewing Co, will join guests to answer any beer-related questions.

“Brewer’s Table is basically a chance to sit down with an established brewer and pick their brain,” says Gold.

“Fortitude Brewing Company do a lager and a golden ale, whereas Noisy Minor are a bit more adventurous and a bit stronger — so there’s definitely a variety.

“If you’ve got any interest in beer, you’ll learn a bit more about the good stuff.”

Although further dates are not yet set in stone, Gold says they’re hoping to get some brewers from down south and overseas in the coming months.

Tickets to Brewer’s Table are $40, but sales have already closed for tomorrow’s event. Keep in the loop for next month’s event on the Tippler’s Tap Facebook page.
