On a cosy street corner in Albion, Hudson Corner Barbeque and Ale House provides hearty American-style food for the soul.

The American food revival has inspired Hudson Corner Barbeque and Ale House to open and provide Albion locals with southern barbecued delicacies.

Owner Matt Lim is also a dietician who has brought his approach to fresh produce and balanced meals to the business.

Hudson’s concept was formed at the Eagle Farm Markets where Lim served American style dishes, however he decided it was time to cement their roots and find a permanent home in Albion.

As the name suggests, Hudson serves a range of barbecued goods, including slow-cooked pulled pork, beef brisket, Buffalo wings.

Mexican meals have also be incorporated into the menu, with homemade corn tortillas and pulled park nachos with fresh salsas as stand-outs.

For desserts, expect classic American treats like pecan pie and Cowboy biscuits.

The ‘Ale’ aspect of the business has been put on hold until licensing is approved, however guests can expect a range American pale ale, brown ale and German beers to accompany the menu.

Diners are welcome to BYO in the meantime.

Hudson Corner has a takeaway menu available, is open for lunch between Tuesday and Sunday, and serves dinner every weekend evening.
