Tonight The Fox Hotel’s Fish Lane Bistro will host a four-course feast to showcase the arrival of Some Young Punks wine.
Fish Lane Bistro’s menu will complement the Some Young Punks range – an emerging producer, creating some of the best modern wines in the country.
Some Young Punks owners Jen Gardner and Col McBryde, who will be at the dinner, have two winemaking PhDs behind them, as well as experience in New Zealand, American and of course Australian vineyards.
Their modern wines pay homage to traditional winemaking techniques such as basket pressing and zero filtration methods.
Guests will have the opportunity to try four wines by Some Young Punks alongside four delicious courses – see menu below.

Steamed local marron tail with Coffin Bay clam & shiitake broth
Wine – Quickie Sauvignon Blanc
Roasted saddle of rabbit with boudin blanc, parsnip cream and mustard leaves
Wine – Top End Chardonnay
Slow cooked new England lamb rack, soft polenta, baby leeks and roasted pistachios
Wine – Double Love Trouble Nebbiolo/Cabernet
Papillion Roquefort soufflé with muscatel and almond water
Wine – Passion Has Red Lips Cabernet/Shiraz
