To celebrate the anticipated return of Game of Thrones, Pony Dining has announced a limited-edition medieval feast…
If the names Tyrion Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow raise the hair on the back of your neck, House Stark makes you cry, White Walkers bring the fear, and the Seven Kingdoms make you shiver, then you have the hunger for the return of the international blockbuster Game of Thrones (GOT).
Pony Dining Brisbane has announced the Game of Thrones Tribute Dish – a whole roast partridge, faro, roasted root vegetables, baked fruit stuffing, and bread sauce.
This medieval feast is available only from 1-14 April, to mark the return of the epic medieval series this Sunday.
Head chef Damien Draper is a hardcore GOT fan, and says the Tribute Dish pays homage to both the food, and the style of eating from the series.
“This style of almost paleo eating is absolutely how they prepared and served their food in medieval times,” says Draper.
“It focuses on the flavours of whole food, and interestingly, it’s one of the strongest current food trends, albeit it’s been modernized
“It’s a great way to celebrate the return of a phenomenal series, and the perfect excuse for a feast!”
