Caffe Aurora has enlisted the support of child comedic genius Rico Rodriguez (‘Manny’ from Modern Family) to increase brand recognition for its coffee.
Rico Rodriguez is well-known for his Modern Family character, Manny, as he is for his love of coffee, and now Rodriguez’s first Australian and New Zealand advertising venture with Caffe Aurora has him road-testing different coffees on the search for the perfect brew.
“Rico has mass audience appeal, which we believe will resonate across a broad cross section of the market,” says Caffe Aurora General Manager of Sales and Marketing Rolando Schirato.
“The connection between Rico and coffee is one that I think Australians and New Zealanders will really enjoy just as much as we have putting it together.”
The development, filming and editing of the entire Caffe Aurora campaign includes four clips shot in Los Angeles directed by the highly-acclaimed Michael Spiller.
“In the past ten years our marketing spend has focused heavily on the strength and heritage of the brand,” says Schirato, adding that with the brand’s growth and market trends it was time to put a face to the Caffé Aurora name. “We are thrilled that Rico Rodriguez would throw his weight behind the Caffé Aurora brand.”
