Chef moves from hearty Italian meals to delicious Italian desserts.
Italian chef Mario Cali will focus on bringing heavenly Italian desserts to Brisbane, after the announcement of his Albion restaurant, being sold.
Mario sold the restaurant to focus on his range of desserts under his Mangiare Plus Group banner, specifically his unique artisan patisserie baking range under the Kitchen Angel brand which he sells online and out of his Italian ‘Locale’ at Newstead.
Mario launched the Kitchen Angel product range of desserts to market last year and has been tirelessly working on new innovations ever since, including a range of Italian hot chocolates and chocolate spreads, which are not just delicious but include vegan, gluten and dairy free options too.
Cali will bake Italian cookies, including his almond, pistachio and hazelnut baking mix range.
And if that’s not keeping Mario busy enough, he’s also offering his skills as a specialist in Italian food for corporate, private and event catering.
