Sabotage Social is a new and exciting whisky bar set to bring counterculture back to Fortitude Valley.

Sabotage Social hosted a launch party on Thursday 24 October to a tremendous reception with signature drinks and cheese and charcuterie boards served upon skateboard decks.

The new whisky bar in Fortitude Valley is situated on the corner of Gipps and Wickham Street and boasts more than 50 brands of whisky for patrons to choose from.

The lounging interior of Sabotage Social is funky and cosy, with small intimate areas for guests to enjoy an alternative to Brisbane’s night scene.

The decadent interior design features a wooden bar, exposed brick walls, black and white framed photographs of Brisbane’s past, a chandelier made from whisky bottles and comfortable leather couches.

The exterior is semi open-air with exposed brick, stencil artwork, pot plants and a string of colourful lights.

This counterculture whiskey bar has come a long way from renovating the Chinese takeaway shop that once stood, and has kept their social media followers in the loop through their renovation process.

The whisky cocktail, on offer as a signature drink on their launch night, allows for a unique way to experiment with their large range of whiskeys on offer.
